These ivory teeth are many- protective and defensive 

To move slow- belly to the earth, leather skin as old as time

To touch on the raw power- with caution- 

To rub the smooth tooth of power with the awe it warrants

I chose the to draw the crocodile- with its thick hide and sharp teeth- a protective and defensive creature- with the branches of a hawthorn tree behind it.
